It was a lovely bank holiday weekend with 3 outdoor catering events. Today we catered for a Jain family who had specific requests for no onion, no garlic and vegan foods.
On the menu was our live crispy kenyan-style Bhajia, served with a homemade chutney, chilli paneer, chilli tofu for the vegans, papdi chaat, and of course, our signature unlimited Jiko Pizza Package, which included Jiko Pizzas for 2 hours, dry masala chips and mixed salad with a home-made dressing.
Can you guess whether this was chilli paneer or chilli tofu?
I was also excited to use our brand new coconut bowls that we had invested in, specifically to serve chaat in. This is our vegan and Jain friendly chaat bowls, freshly assembled on site!
Our simple but satisfying salad and dry masala chips. Did you know our dry masala chips have a home-made kenyan peri-peri style seasoning on them? They are quite addictive!
The guests loved our crispy bhajia as well, also fried fresh on site, and served with our homemade chutney. Kept warm in our chafing dish, but not over stacked so they don't go soggy!
And finally, once again, our Jiko Pizzas were a massive hit!
