The final event for the weekend was in Twickenham, Kent, celebrating a 40th birthday. The client got in touch with us a couple of months ago to discuss a Pizza package with some sides. They were looking for a fish dish, so we suggested our Tilapia Fish Bhajias to be part of the menu. They liked the sound of the menu and quickly booked us!
It was an early start to the day, with the team heading to our local fishmonger in North Finchley, to pick up fresh Tilapia. We skinned and cut into small bite size pieces at home and prepared the batter.
On site, we fried the fish to make our special Tilapia Fish Bhajia, ensuring that as it was a small event, the fish were fried in small batches so that it could be enjoyed as soon as possible. We always only fry food in batches so guests can enjoy fresh food throughout the event.
We also had our yummy dough balls and unlimited Jiko Pizzas. Both went down a treat!
Also on the menu was our signature Chilli Paneer dish and dry Masala Chips which went down a treat with the Jiko Pizzas and all the food.
We were taken care of by the hosts and were offered drinks every 10 minutes. Much appreciated as it was so hot that day and we had limited shade. It makes such a difference when you cater for lovely people and it was the perfect end to the weekend!
Next weekend we have 3 large garden events over the Bank Holiday Weekend - can't wait to do some more blogging!
